The Power Stow Rollertrack Conveyor is based on the concept of double conical rollers that
expose a concave roller surface to guide passenger baggage of all shapes, sizes and weights
reliably between the cargo hold and the mobile belt conveyor on the ramp.
Power Stow Rollertrack Conveyor solves the basic problem of guiding baggage round a 90-degree
corner and straight on to stacking in the hold or from the hold through the cargo hatch to the belt
conveyor on the ramp. The conical roller design means that the speed on the edges of the rollers is
higher than that in the middle, and that baggage rounding a corner will automatically be guided back
towards the centre of the rollers.
The Power Stow Rollertrack Conveyor is installed underneath the belt on a ramp belt conveyor and
can easily be pulled out or retracted as necessary by a single operator to bring the end as close as
possible to the baggage in the hold. This means far less physical strain on operators than in comparable
systems, as well as a lower manpower requirement.
